Protective Barrier – Our product prevents fats, oils and grease (FOG) from penetrating external packaging. EPPS paper accomplishes this objective in two ways. One is through a non-penetrating oil and grease resistant component of our paper. The other is with an absorbent layer that attracts FOG and other elements into the crepe component of our paper. EPPS paper prevents the penetration to outer surfaces, delivers a more aesthetically pleasing package, (free from oil and grease stains), and prevents the transfer of FOG on hands, car seats, dining surfaces, clothes and so forth.

Heat Retention – Based on internal FLIR thermal camera testing, EPPS packaging increases heat retention capabilities by as much as 15 degrees compared to packaging solutions provided by most competitors. These results were predicated upon comparing temperatures of current packaging designs of select national chains to temperatures of a similar EPPS package design. Temperatures of food products using competitor packaging versus EPPS were obtained 20 minutes after leaving a fast-food franchise or restaurant 20 minutes was used to simulate delivery or drive home time.
